| The more she thinks about the person, the more her feelings "go deeper." She talks about "a wave hitting", and it "washes over" her... it comes at different times but the way she feels always cut deep. Even the way she describes the person:\n\nYou\'re the dancer in the dark\nYou\'re the beat in my heart\nYou\'re the evening sky\nYou\'re my mourning dove\n\n...the person is in everything that she sees and does. She can\'t get away from them. When the song starts, it sounds like she\'s talking about falling in love so fast and being afraid to continue, but as the song goes on, it sounds like she\'s going through losing someone or not being able to have them. \n\nI think it\'s open for interpretation. Anyone can really put their own heartbreaks into the song and find a connection, which is what I love about LEON! One of my favorite artists. | |
