| Stewball was actually a racehorse in the 1800s. They did not originate the song. It\'s an old folk song that resurfaced in the 30s and then PPM made their amazing version in the 60s.\n\nIt\'s about the underdog winning and being immortalized (his silver bridle and gold mane). Was originally Skewball I think. | |
