For me, as a combat vet and 30 year firefighter, this song is about all the **** those of us have seen but the rest of the world is either ignorant to or chooses not to acknowledge. For those with PTSD, recurring dreams of the events continue and it seems nobody gives a ****. People continue living and behaving like these things don\'t happen while some continue to face and go through it every day. From my perspective, the words pretty much explain what it feels like. |
