Amen. And generousgenius, dude, that was just my opinion. No need to jump on me like that. And what could moving away be a metaphor for? Suicide... |

| Wow. This song is freaking amazing. Is it just me, or does this sound eerily like a suicide note? "Never speak a word again, I will crawl away for good..." | |

Eddie? Responsible for Kurt's death? That's ridiculous! Think what you wanna think, but I think he committed suicide (obviously I'm among the minority here) Anyway, the song. I like what FROST17 said earlier. He and "an old enemy" are trying to see past their differences and put some things to rest. Some people here could take that advice. |

God, I hate Eminem. That is so sick. Just wondering, what DVD did he do this on? Courtney was a Buddhist, I think. Kurt wasn't. About the song: I have absolutely no clue what it's about. Maybe it's just some completely random song that he just threw together one day, I don't know. I do know that it's a damn good song (probably my favorite). One more thing: Thanks to Kurt's Uncle by marriage, Larry Smith: I wanted you all to know that Kurt used to tell my sister that he was "forever in debt to your priceless advice" when they were bitching at each other. It used to just piss her off royally when he said that. When me and Debbie (my wife) first heard those words set to music, I just got goosebumps. I discussed the meaning with her, and she would tell me that she was "forever in debt to my priceless advice" just to be smart-aleck! :-) (from the Nirvana FAQ, http://www.digitalnirvana.net/happening/nirvanafaq/faq1.html) |

*sigh* Well, anni, you're not alone in your conviction. People, get a grip. The man was suicidal. And if you don't believe me, there's a Rolling Stone article on it: http://www.rollingstone.com/features/cs683article.asp creed_rocks: Kurt killed himself on April 5, 1994. His body was found three days later, on the eighth. |

Homo? Just because someone has a different opinion from you, you're allowed to define their sexual preference? Kurt said himself that sexists, racists, HOMOPHOBICS, etc. should just quit listening. NoseDragon... I think your interpretation was pretty good. And although there were some pretty damn obvious drug references, fuckyouall, I can see where you're coming from. People here will attribute almost every fucking song to drugs... "Yeah, I don't know what this song's about, so I'll just say it's about drugs!!! lol!!!" idiots... |
