I completely agree that it sounds like "gain again what they want to steal," and, those lyrics are way more poignant to the theme of the song than "can't get what they want to steal." What a different time though. I'm floored thinking about it. |

@[onyx_satin:51760] While I always thought "counteract his charm attack" was the lyric, because it's better, and is the one to make any remote sense, unfortunately it's some gobbledygook about cataracts of charm attacks. Which aren't a thing. It's neither a river nor blindness. |

Hey guys I’m too adhd to read all the other comments here Bc there’s a real risk I’ll forget to leave mine or what I wa going to say If I don’t just do it asap so if I’m repeating anything my apologies.\n\nI think the song is about the emerging thought form god of consumerism / mankind and how it’s a bastardization or has been / will always be a corrupting force. The repeated mention of this light being neon, like some leviathan hovering in the sky that blots out the truly divine god of nature. Neon light is really the only type of light wholly produced by man and yes while it does occur in nature rarely and for fractional seconds it’s man who has cultivated it- and for what? To serve as advertisement/commerce. We all know money is the root or all evil and this artificial voice / light / is moneys mouthpiece and agent. It has silenced the natural. And now it sets about to be absolute and singularly dominant . We all fall to it maybe not at first but it seeds have all. |
