2. The realtionship is steady and not just a one night stand ("I don't mean maybe")
3. Since it's a guy singing about a girl, he thinks she's more attractive then any other girl he's seen ("Queen of all the teens")
4. She apparently loves to dance and have a good time ("The one with the flying feet")
5. But she also likes to spend a lot of money "Walks around the store...gets more, more, more")
As for the title, Be Bop is another term for Jazz music and Lulu was from a comic strip singer Gene Vincent found called "Little Lulu" which inspired the song! |

This is just a instrumental that Eddie came up. They might have thought the next song "Jump" needed a intro so this fitted perfectly. Calling it "1984" like the album title, it does sound very 80\'s. Which was common at the time thanks to synth pop songs being played in popular music. If i read right Thomas Dolby whose hit "She Blinded Me with Science" helped Eddie with setting up the keyboards. Eddie returned the favor helping Thomas out on a album in 1992! |

I look at this way: It\'s guy in a band whose in a relationship. He goes out on tour being accused by his girl of sleeping with every groupie out on the road. She\'s waited for him all this time and finally has had enough and decides to leave him. "Don\'t look back in anger i heard you say"\n\nI think Noel wrote this about his own experience. Musicians are like truck drivers. Always on the road away from home a lot. You need to have a lot of patience to be with one. Nobody says being a rock star was easy living! |

As a fan of Extreme and Van Halen, words like "filibister", "decavities" and "rudder" most likely were thought up by Gary Cherone. He uses unusual words that common listeners would not understand. This song has a lot of negative emotion to it. It could be from the bitter split with David Lee Roth. VH fans can musically like it because it\'s got that classic VH riff to it. But the words are a bit of a turn off. Nothing lyrically about partying and getting laid! |
