I have always thought this song was about feeling suicidal after heart break. The beginning is like his goodbye letter, his guilt to his mother and \'just killed a man\' is himself. Then the breakdown in the middle is like the voices in his head. The self pity. He snaps out of his self destructive feelings and it turns to pure anger to the person who broke his heart. "So you think you can stop me and spit in my eye, So you think you can love me and leave me to die". The song goes back to his heartache, but he is left feeling numb. |

Agree it is about MJ. In 2003, MJ went to Gary, Indiana and literally walked down his old Street to visit his childhood home. A real life walking down memory lane for him. She writes "When you walk around that old street.... Where you lived and who you were then... You can have it again". |
