Queens of the Stone Age – I Never Came Lyrics 3 years ago
@[bonerBoner:40916] I came here to see if anyone sees a reference to Rasputin in the song. Although it\'s not about Rasputin they use his story as an analogy of a toxic relationship. Drinking the poison cup it won\'t die is surely a reference to just that. The gun, fire rope and stone were all instruments or ways that they tried to kill putin because he was known for being unkillable. He was also a sexual deviant that to some degree would use sex as a form of payment. And so it would have been more of a favour for women to have him in their bed because it meant he would heal their loved ones in return. It\'s suggested that even the Russian queen would have had sex with Rasputin to save her son and yet he was still favored by the czar. His comparisons though I think refer to a relationship that like Rasputin is unkillable no matter how much toxicity is fed into it. No tools or no way of ending it no matter how hard they try.\r\n
