| The very first thing that struck me about the Chameleons was the lush atmospheric sound, even in a friend\'s car\'s worn cassette player. I bought every CD or vynal I could that week. It was then that the genius of the lyrics struck me. I think Swamp Thing reflects on the complexity and scattered energies of a civilization declining, losing heart, love, sincerity, and maybe, "The storm has come, or is it just another shower" is questioning a metaphorical end. My favorite group of all time and I am seventy five.\nMy favorite songs, Swamp Thing, Second Skin, Childhood "a little more heart now", Paradiso. \nThank you Mark.
