@[spiritofjosh:43640] Josh, you blew my mind. 0% that was the artists intention, lol, but your interpretation, in all seriousness, makes complete logical sense to me. What you said actually lends the song a deeper more universal, cross-species meaning in a way (which is impressive bc I really loved this song and what it represents to me already). The beauty of art lies in its subjective nature; the eye of the beholder. Maybe you were feeling some sort of connection with dogs when you were pondering this song. Either way, some call you a genius, others call you a mad man. I call you friend, and a smart lad haha take care and be well, and same to everyone else on this page. |

@[ketg4u:43002] i think it’s a weird cosmic cosmic coincidence I came here almost exactly a year later from Jason in 2021, while only Jon in 2015 had commented since ketg initially commented in 2009- June. We all were thinking about our brother in the same month, 17 years between. And Jon sadly didn’t had the same situation, rather a lack of it. I’m not really sure what I’m getting at but it just seems odd. |

@[crablad:40706] what an absolutely fantastic and uplifting interpretation. on its face I can totally see the song being us "separating" from our current reality and moving to the next one... if you think this is over... then you\'re wrong. i was bumming myself out totally thinking this was about separating from a pivotal relationship, namely Thom\'s. But you blew my mind and I\'m so certain this is what they intended, what an amazing subversion of expectations by the lads. Great analysis my friend |
