| @[bookends_smile:40590]\r\nDharma is different in Buddhism and Hinduism. In Buddhism the dharma is The Way that is revealed to the Buddha. It is the same for everyone. \r\nIn Hinduism it is more specific to the person. Different people can have different dharma. They speak about “your dharma” as the path you need to take or the things you need to do. So I can also see how “dharma will come” could mean that you will have to find your path eventually… you cannot escape your dharma. \r\nIn contrast, karma is more like the effects of your actions and doesn’t have a purpose or a goal like dharma. It makes more sense to me that dharma limits your freedom sort of like “destiny” while karma is just about the consequences of your actions | |
