My mother used to stop her car every time she saw a dead animal in the road to move it to the side. She said she couldn't stand how people would rather just crush once living creatures into the pavement. Whenever anyone asked how she'd like to be put to rest, she would shrug and say "I don't care. I'll be dead." She just hated how little respect people gave to life. This song reminds me of that. I miss her every day. She was too good for this world. |
