The last line of the first verse, "I went along with you" here is actually not the lyric. This line is mumble, during recording he messed up the line but they left it in the song.\n\nSecondly, not once but twice is there a reference to Bob Dylan in this song. Obviously when he is mentioned by name, when they danced to Desolation Row.\n\nBut also, the second line is from a famous Dylan song:\n\n\'Twas in another lifetime, one of toil and blood\nWhen blackness was a virtue the road was full of mud\nI came in from the wilderness, a creature void of form\nCome in, she said\nI\'ll give ya shelter from the storm\n\nMaybe this will help someone! |
