I loved this song when I first heard it. It makes you think. It really does. I found this song catchy and well written and thought out. I also saw Nickelback in concert at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland ME. It was awesome. They had these cool lights that had their band name and were shining it on the ceiling. Then the lead singer, Chad, was able to sneak through the crowd un-noticed and ended up on the other side of the place. They played along with Saliva, Default, JereMiah Freed, and Bad Ronald (who I personally thought really sucked). By the way, alone310, I'm sorry about your dad. It really sux to loose somebody to cancer. I guess all you can do is remember fun times you had with him. Also, batmasterson, I really hope your dad gets better and makes it through. I have to admitt that I do like a lot of his work and do think he is talented. I also sort of like this song even though it is very sik and twisted. I'm kind of glad that he wrote a song like this because it is 20 times better than doing it in real life. If Kim really did do that to him, that was very wrong on her part. I have to admit, I've seen and heard worse, but this song is pretty gruesome. As far as him putting it on the album, well, it was Em's choice. I do admitt that their last album was not, by far, the best that they've came out with, but they had a number of songs that were worth listening to on it. I agree on parts of this song. I think this song is about a relationship problem and he's giving and giving, but getting back nothing. I think he's really angry (obviously) but he's finally letting it all fade away. Now he is stuck with a fucked up mess, and he's saying that he never meant to fade away. I think people that are put in bad relationships should get out of it by splitting. Some relationship problems can get pretty damn dangerous! It's safe to get out of relationships that are taking a turn downhill! Remember that! People might not agree with me, but I think that the little boy in the video represents society and that the video represents the shit that society watches and how powerful it can become. And for the song, I think he's going through a world of depression and wants to commit suicide, but takes a turn and turns his depressed state of mind and turns it to hate.
