The song must be about one who is utterly depressed, edgy, and thinking about committing suicide/homicide. They fell themselves at odds with the whole community, society "Sink somewhere dark and cold\'- the line simply depicts that the person is in the outer world, but not with the human beings, the person lowkey understands that their life of his is relatively meaningless, however hard he tries.
