| The meaning of this song is that you know you’re not going to live much longer, and your demons have finally taken over, but everybody still loves you. This song was made to honor Tyler Robinson, a huge Imagine Dragons fan who ended up losing his long battle with cancer. With lyrics like “But with the beast inside, there’s nowhere we can hide” it’s clear that this is a song about somebody with a terminal illness or other condition, and the lyric “Look into my eyes, it’s where my demons hide” explains that a loved one is still there, but can’t be seen due to him not being able to survive due to his illness. | |
