Imagino uma relação (amizade ou amor) com alguém bipolar ou inconstante que é sempre egoísta nas suas acções. É já tão banal que já se refere como "só mais um dia mau", desvalorizando o mau que essa relação lhe provoca. Parece que ele reconhece os motivos da outra pessoa para as certas atitudes ("sei que a tua vida foi marcada pela dor") mas ao mesmo tempo acha que não servem de justificação para tudo ("não houve à luz do dia quem não tenha provado o travo amargo da melancolia"). Toda a música gira em torno da decisão em se afastar para "lhe dar a provar" a tristeza que sente pelos seus comportamentos. |
