Apparently KC is Matt Pond ex wife. From other songs I get the impression that they had a fight and falling out in Montreal. In the lyrics of “History of Canada. “In the history of Canada there never was a mention of how we fought out on the sidewalk of the Drake Hotel” However he goes on to say “I’ve got got this power of revision, you knew me well” So this may not be absolutely what happened. By the way, if you haven’t figured it out, Lily is his daughter. |
