I take "the end of the movie" to mean enjoying the little things in life. Things go wrong, things get bad around you and for you, but in spite of that you still want to see how the movie ends, if your garden will have daffodils next spring, what costumes the trick or treaters will wear next year. It's about a quietly optimistic person finding joy in the little things despite bad circumstances. |

I always thought of this song as being about a coven of witches who find a demon possessed doll and try to harness its power, but I like the idea of it being about a group of little girls better |
