@[lrynisonlyhmn:38884] Exactly what I went through but with an ex with a drug addiction. We both had very different lives but connected deeper on another realm. Playing out a fantasy of a future, “ was it just for show?”. He perceived the world as cold and cruel and as a victim, becoming more narcissistic and survival based. Almost as he lived in a fantasy and he changed his reality. Pretending to be characters to blend in with every person. “ if they tried to pull you out, would you even go?” Going to rehab or get help. “I held your hand until the light The scars were on the back And all the time we were the right Was it just retract?“ Every time we would get somewhere he sabotaged it. Trying to show him the “light” that he could get better. But he would keep going back. “ let me break you through this world” Self explanatory of “let me help get you away from that world.” “I thought you were the sweetest kill, did you even know?” I perceived this in two ways. One where I watched the person I loved slowly kill himself. Another in the way where it felt like I was grieving a death and it killed a part of myself as well. |
