@[bokononist:38562] As George Harrison is one of my Absolute Heroes, I cannot really critize him. But think for yourself and religion does not mix. As he does in this song. Either you think for yourself or you believe in god. You csn off course do both but here he sings ”god god god ” and That is the same as belief and not thinking for yourself. Had he not put the words ”god god god ” Then I would have Agreed. But Harrison was Hardy dogmatic he could critize religion as well. Well I think I have never said a bad Word about George Harrison but I think in this case he mixes it wrong. You can believe in a government or religion but that has nothing to do with thinking for yourself. Anyway great great song and What an album to finish off his career. For Me it might be a top 3 Harrison album. |
