@[Phathoms:38533] WOW! I have NO idea from where you originate, but your expansion on not only the song lyrics, but holistic understanding and explanation of the symbiotic reliance between the body and the spirit (although I am certain the spirit is [unfortunately] reliant on the body/physical), is mind blowing!!! johnathanchristie@gmail.com

@[TobintheGnome:38531] If I have my facts straight, the words were from a recording of a radio station preacher. I'm South African, so I could be wrong though! ????

I have always believed in the importance of debating different points of views, but I have to admit that WHITE DISCUSSION helps me realise that sometimes and under certain circumstances, entertaining any debate over what is clearly right or wrong, just seems counterproductive and allowing for such wasted time in trying to please everyone, might actually lead to a collective loss! My all time favourite LIVE song!!!

@[Johnathan:38347] Christie Footnote, I realise that failing to leave a tip is NOT directly confrontational, but nonetheless, a passive aggressive way of saying "you are not good enough"!, unless you at least explain that you cannot afford a tip at the time! Just my own observation.

Līve – Waitress Lyrics 4 years ago
I believe (and please don't take offence, this is NOT directed at anyone in particular), that we ALL have our good and bad days and sometimes, if we can get away with ignoring decent mutual respect for others (ie. Service providers, people with little recourse to retaliation etc.) we may tend to take our frustrations out on people whom we have absolutely no idea how they may be feeling at that time, nor thier personal situation/s! This song speaks VOLUMES of the modern human "condition" and self centred feelings we choose to succumb to in our own moments of fear and weakness, instead venting at some of the very people who are not able to afford the services they render to us! I have made this error many a time before and (not always) on occasion, have returned to my "victim" and apologised for my poor display of temper and lack of humanity! I can only hope that my efforts to undo my wrongs have made a difference in the lives of the people I have offended! After all, isn't forgiveness as close to love as any other human emotion!?
