It reminds me of this Bible verse Matthew 5:14-16 New International Version 14 “You are the light of the world. It’s about the devil and how he stalks you through life he doesn’t want Jesus to deliver you from him. Every vow you break (the great accuser is what he is sometimes called) and he will get you to break a vow as he is very very clever. Every smile you fake (cause he knows how sad you are at times and put on a front) and again accusing. The mere trickery of this song that some think it a great love song is indicative of it’s origins. He wants to possess you. I understand if anyone reads this they will think me kooky but I have been spiritually attacked and during that time I was told me means M.E. or mister evil. So can’t you see you belong to ME. Why would someone who really loves you be troubled by every step you take? Every bond you break he will participate in the breakage he will smirk. Oh, can't you see You belong to me How my poor heart aches With every step you take He hates you can’t stand that you are walking the earth. 2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. The very composer of this song his name is sting (also think of the movie) we are being shammed about life.
