@[R:38170].ache.L - As I mentioned above, there's a book by a Rimbaud expert titled 'Rimbaud and Jim Morrison: The Rebel as a Poet (1994, Duke Univ Press). The author had correspondence with Jim about his interest in Rimbaud. Morrison was very well read. |

@[Lizardking1971:38168] - hope you're still kickin'. You were right, despite this mishearing of hollow idol, Jim clearly enunciates a P so it is Apollo idol's eyes. He was well read in the classics and used ancient Greek and Roman references a lot; e,g., Lost in a Roman wilderness of pain. |
