As someone said earlier, this song cam be about separation of lovers. What makes it more tragic is that the separation is connected to aging. The idea of aging and reflecting on the time passed is clearly seen throughout the album, and I understood that song as a last words to a loved one before death. He asks the other person to accept it and let him go, because he is transcending to a better place where he finally can be at peace ("Will it hurt to see me find The long lost peace of mind") |

I think this song is about returning to a past relationship. The lyric hero dreams about someone (first paragraph), the he admits that even moving forward and growing old ("age tears my spine") he returns to that person ("This fever drives me Straight into your arms again"). And everything tells about regret and wanting to have this relationship back (paragraph 4) |
