@[animi:37332] it does make a lot of sense... "They rule the land They're in command They hold all strings in hand They are invisible Out of sight They've designed a secret place to play their games A world they're in control Divine law Divine law " - either a game Master or a player starting a new game (in a procedural world or choosing their quests or generating a map). For an NPC or even a videogame controllable character, the player or game master is like a god... "You're part of the game You're slave to the grind" - what else would you do in an RPG videogame?? grinding some loot and XP!! "Now I know you Understand this world is not true Nothing is real Nothing at all It's bits and pieces We walk through" - NPC or the actual player character realizing they're actually in a virtual world... made of "bits": 0s and 1s... "You've crossed the line You've reached the end" - beating the final boss/finishing the last quest.... game over! and as a bonus, the Elder Scrolls IV "Oblivion" was released before this song, so you could pretend this song is about TES: Oblivion (just for fun...) |
