This song, folk! This song is killing me! Such a wonderful song! I’m not sure if it was madrugada himself or madru talking about it, but I just loved the complexity behind the song! Apparently this song switches between the thoughts and feelings two people have to each other, and that’s how this song was put together! Just fell in love with it even more when I heard the interpretation so I just had to share it with you, folks! So am I Good or bad? Genius! Both of them thinks that! She is like, am I good or bad, decide for the love of god, so you can find out if you want to stay or not. You see, he is not someone taking any risks in life and always playing it safe, so that’s how the dilemma started. And he in return stands far away and being scared of getting close bc he doesn’t know if she thinks he is bad or good. Just genius! The way that things did turn out I did only make you sad Self explanatory! All above makes her sad ofc. I cried too, and here is why: Anywhere you are, I am near Anywhere you go, I'll be there Anytime you whisper my name, You'll see Every single promise I'll keep, 'Cause what kind of guy Would I be, If I was to leave, When you need me most Not sure if it was Chris Medina but definitely Chris who talked about how this song is so relevant even today, he is talking about being near, there, even when she is whispering his name, but he is doing that by hacking his phone and listening, and that’s how he is everywhere she is. He thinks that’s what she means by being there, so that’s really sad. Totally agree with Chris on that matter. What are words if you really, Don't mean them when you say them What are words if they're only, For good times then that's all When it's love ya you say them, Out loud these words They never go away, They live on, Even when we're gone This is the part my tears always starts pouring like in middle of the rain season in rainforests. It makes me sad just writing about it! But I’m going to manage, bc I think it’s so important to share this with the internet. He really means what he says, but what he doesn’t understand is that hacking gives the complete opposite impression of being there, but it’s soooo saaad people that he doesn’t see that for being there you really have to be there. So he sticks around while she goes through bad times, but doesn’t understand that his hacking adds more difficulty to any hardship she may have. Now I can’t stop crying folks! This song is definitely about a guy who is in love with someone, but he just can’t find the courage to let her know because of the age difference. He took her for granted and questioned her love, and know he has used to much time and it makes it harder for him to be honest. He is also deep inside scared of being completely honest because he is scared of being hurt again, because like I read the text, his first wife definitely hurt his feelings. But what he doesn’t understand is that he has nothing to worry. Everything was by the book the first time and it still didn’t work out. Sometimes the complete opposite of what everyone may suggest could be the right thing for one. This part is just my opinion and not facts: what he does wrong is that he is just standing back waiting, but that could make her think he doesn’t want her, so I don’t agree with the right here waiting part, in fact I think he should have have been right there not waiting. Waiting can feel like vacuum and could suffocate every spark. So this is what I understood based only on the text. |
