This really is a deeply emotional song. But I feel it just isn't about a loss of a significant other, but reaches across for anyone. Having just lost my father two weeks ago, it fits perfect. I have always loved this song (and album) since it came out. I was sad when The Sundays disassembled. Such great songs. |
