@[bluebottleblue:37133] Thank you for intensive interpretation. I'd like to mention that in Finnish mythology Swan has many meanings. It is also related to death - "Tuonelan Joutsen" which swims in the black water over which people who died go. It can even be seen in paintwork: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Gallen_Kallela_Lemminkainens_Mother.jpg There are numerous beliefs about a swan: -If you kill a swan, you too will be destroyed (like Mr "Lemminkäinen" in painting above). -Swan is a bringer of the spring -Swan travels between this world and heaven and delivers messages. -> Returning Swan is either coming of the Spring or then it is delivering a message from hereafter (which would fit with Sedulous mice (Rats) and fleeting skies) meaning nervousness before something happens. |
