MGK (aka Colson Baker) has made his past struggles with drug abuse, very clear numerous times. It’s what makes him such a relatable person, he’s been down & out, yet sends a message that if he’s still here….anyone has a chance to change! I’ve lost friends to overdose, and I’ve seen people overcome it. Unless you can empathize with this dark world, this song won’t have the same feeling for each listener. But that’s why art is so strong! MGK is an artist that will tackle every subject that he experiences! He’s clearly a humble person, as seen in his interviews, his IG videos, his concerts, etc! |
