@[multihenya:36951] Thank you so much for posting this. I just listened to the song for probably the twenty-thousandth time within a couple years and finally delved deep into the lyrics and came up with the entirely same interpretation as you! I felt like maybe I was reaching a bit since bands that categorize as more secular don't usually make songs about religion, but I was so stoked to see that I'm not the only one who thinks this. This song gives me heavy Christian undertones about salvation. With the state of the world now, I've been very concerned with the eternity of my friends and family, and even people I don't personally know. This songs really captures my feelings about my hopes and prayers that they will come closer to God and see that this world isn't worth giving up their eternity with The Father in paradise. And I don't find it to be coincidence that you posted this two days ago either, one of us probably would've haha! God bless you and everyone you care about. <3 |
