It's starts slightly accusatory: you think you're the only one living on a prayer (and hopes what you are doing is meaningful, to a greater end)? Have you ever projected your hopes of being loved upon others who weren't reciprocating? All these questions lead to apathy, as pointed by the others comment, and apathy can lead to a moral desert, a pointless and destructive nihilism. If i start behaving destructively towards myself and others, i Invoke the Gods(!) to show me the way. In alternative to the gods we can put the deeper self, that holds our unconscious desires and critques to our conscious behavior. So bring my deep desires to light and show me "da wae". You can try to look back at the past, regain old habits, but maybe you've changed. You've changed so much people that you used to know don't even recognize you anymore. You can only accept that you've changed and move on. Look forward. |
