| i think it’s honestly jackie kennedy’s point of view of trying to save her and john kennedy’s relationship. with the music video showing lana in a car with asap rocky would played the role of JFK and later lana in a rose garden which was a famous memorial jackie kennedy set up at the white house after his unfortunate death. john kennedy was a serial cheater but he was smart, charming and his family had lots of money. in this song she talks of how smart the man she’s in love with is and how she does really love him. earlier in the song she talks about money probably hiding her pain of how she truly loves him and trying to make fake excuses to stay with him. | |

although this song was written as more satire because fans were trying to analyze their lyrics i always thought that the line ‘ I am he as you are he as you are me And we are all together’ was very much about how we all start out the same at birth. |
