From the perspective of reading the lyrics, Alonzo to is a story about a human, being male or female... (stay with me) that is attracted to someone that’s out of his or her league and it’s a beautiful scene. How could this person “He’d come sporting and flashing hearts would drift away...” He or she would make advances but they were never taken seriously because his/her character is flawed. The key lyric is “How could he rule her with feet of sand and clay...” This person is empty, unsure of him or herself, possibly a fraud or a fake but has turned a corner. Dream came upon a scene... He or she found what they were looking for so the gamble was to go for it. “Alonzo declared that he must reach for heaven, for heaven!” He/She has to step out in FAITH! He/She has to open up their heart and “Become” Welcome Alonzo. |
