@[Skacore:39477] nah, his friend ODing on the second hole was just a way to segue banter into the song. it was written well before that incident, |

@[sxedantheman:39476] it's how Darby Crash would sign off at the end of The Germs' concerts, and where he would ultimately kill himself following a Germs show. It was a cheap fast food joint that a lot of kids in the punk rock scene would go afterparty at for a bit before making their way elsewhere into the night.
At the end of I Heard They Suck Live, you can hear Mike sign off the same way. It's a befitting lyric, referencing Darby Crash, and a classic NOFX motif in one great outro lyric |

The general sentiment has been stated here: a harrowing overdose nightmare. i'd just like to point out that it stays in line with Repeater's motif of consumption, only Shut The Door is a heated mediation on the perilous side of consumption; like heroin, or a combination of drugs that are known to be lethal like benzos and alcohol. |

This is a song about the type of skinheads who go to punk rock shows just to single out and beat the shit out defenseless, smaller attendees in the crowd who wouldn't fight back, all under the guise of moshing/slam dancing |
