@[Addo:36115] Was Jimi a shredder like EVH? Nope. He probably would have super shredding abilities had he lived longer. He didn't need to be any of that. What Hendrix did in the studio was beautiful. Stunning really. If you look at what this artist did in such a few years..... unreal! Just his rhythm playing alone....... jeeez! He reminds me of Bruce Lee. He took everything he knew coming up and created something powerful and truly his own. Amazing! A live concert is a different animal completely and everybody has had "off nights" even Robin Trower. Ask Robin what he thinks of Jimi's playing. End of story bro. |
