I lost my friend Melissa to cancer today and I was just sitting here listenin to this and i realize how fortunite i am to have my family and friends since i lost her. its sad it took a 15 year old girls death for me to appreciate my own health and life |

I think the guy in this song needs to be the controlling one in the relationship but he can't control her and she can't control him so its an on going battle to win and its fun along the way because the sex is good i guess, its like the only time he has control of her is when they're having sex but he has no other control in anything....may i also say i love this video it kicks ass when he throws the keys in the woods and keeps walkin, its awesome |

I happened to hear a different story about this song: James was in rehab for awhile on drug abuse and he met this woman Suzanne whom he started a relationship with and eventually fell in love with, the doctors in the rehab centre decided that this relationship maybe be unproductive to their healing process and separated them and a day or so afterwards she killed herself bc he was the only thing really keeping her alive...thus the lines "Ive seen fire and ive seen rain, ive seen sunny days that i thought would never end, *ive seen lonely times when i could not find a friends, but i always thought that id see you again*" |
