This song, to me, represents the rebirth through reincarnation. The passing of a person at the "Last call". Then, awaking as a bird outside the the window of a loved one singing a song that only the person would recognize as coming from their recently departed, which upon initially hearing the tune, can't place it. Then the recognition of the tune sung bringing a tear of joy to them in remembrance of the their friend, and finally, as that person is remembered, the person still lives as long as their memory is in the heart of the one listening to the bird. |
