I think it is the coolest explanation So the last lyrics of Southern Man are " I heard screamin' and bullwhips cracking How long? How long? How? " and the answer, very sweetly delivered, is, You have until the morning to change your racist ways. Tomorrow morning is a good day to remember what your good book said.
