never noticed the "you'll sing some day" part. i thought it was "you sing something". should've realized. i was just standing outside, this song on my headphones, really feeling it in my bones you know, and wanted to sing out loud so bad but couldn't because people might think i'm crazy, which i am of course, i just don't like to be treated as such. i'll sing someday |

domestic abuse would make sense. calling the emergency number and hearing the "don't move, just stay right where you are". thinking to yourself "everything hurts but it's fine (it's fine)". letting it go, being manipulated: "Come over here and let me Put you back together" holding on to your sanity with art: "Writing just to save my life You stretch barelegged across each line" and exposing the abuser. still going back probably. the energy in the live performance i'm listening highlights the resentment, the vengeance. i don't know it's a great song and I'm pretty high |
