The feel of the song, especially the acoustic version, leads me to believe the meaning of the lyrics are about leaving someone behind and moving on without them. The reminiscing during the verses moves like poetry. Plus, I'm pretty sure this song is in remembrance of Shaun's brother who committed suicide. So many of Seether's songs are underrated, when the lyrics are so deeply moving. |
