The Divine Comedy – The Frog Princess Lyrics 5 years ago
It's the opposite, she don't love anybody.
He's an englishman having a relationship with a french girl who doesn't care about him and anyone, he tries to get rid of her but he couldn't so he was threw away like some Parisiennes would do, may be he had tender feeling may be she just wanted sex.
In fact that's a true story and he regrets now some cruelty in his words, like cow and guillotine but he was really brokenhearted

The Divine Comedy – Don't Look Down Lyrics 5 years ago
This is a great song with really nice chords changing.

I think it's about the fear of death and religion, while is on the top of the ferris wheel and have vertigo when it stops. His girlfriend try to reassure him, a couple seems to feel the same, after an atheistic and philosophical tosh in his mind the wheel starts spinning again while he says to himself " Don't look down".
I can't stand Ferris Wheel and i used to feel the same but not with the same words except "don't look down".
Inspiré, poetique et très talentueux ce Neil Hannon
