Yeah, this song is full of euphemisms for being with a girl that has a family that is a *bit* promiscuous. The sister gives him handy's ("on the palm of her hand is a blister"), the mom makes passes at him ("But I quite fancy her mother and I think she likes me"), and cousin's got a kid but he knows it ain't his ("she's got one in the oven", implying they've done stuff before). And the brother probably knows about all this, explaining why he doesn't like the singer. Side note: I like the little harmony bit at the end, a cheeky reference to the end of "With A Little Help From My Friends" by The Beatles. It's a fun song for sure, especially when drinking. |
