It’s about the groupies that the band had while being the greatest rock band of the 80’s era. Way better than Oasis could or would ever be! First verse is about spotting a beauty in the crowd, what “blue” means is that it won’t last for her, her looks gives him a “chill”, that moment in silk sheets seems like forever, then it’s over and they/he leaves the broken hearted behind.
