I think that it's about an abusive parent, but 'you're taking pictures of my as I fall down the stairs'? That's hinting to my interpretation. 'Your TV taught child, your sweetest affair' tv taught child is like the parent didnt' bother, so they just watched tv and that's where they got socialised and learned everything. sweetest affair means they were probably just flirting with parenthood and werent ready for a kid, and the kid wasn't wanted, or like the dad had a mistress and it was an affair but she got pregnant and his partner found out, and that's why he's so angry with the kid, because he 'wrecked everything' (when obviously it was the dad's own fault). 'your feet don't fit the branch' is the dad saying that the kid wouldn't be able to liev without him, as in hes not fit to be an adult, even though the dad is obviously a shit dad and and an incompetent adult, and a horrible person. ' it never really goes the way I planned it to I'll tell it like you want all parts appeal and none that don't' as in the story is that you dont hurt me and that none of this happened. 'seems awful but this never happened who cares' as in abuse is awful but nobody really cares because no one knows-- it didn't happen. 'you say i was your white cast kid, born for your cares' more hints and outright saying it. Basically screams abusive parental relationship. this makes me cry. |
