Hosier is a poet of the highest level. Every one of his songs has deep meaning and originality. How many times do you hear a song and think you've heard another just like it before? Not Hosier's songs. His melodies are soulful and pull you in with rich baselines and harmonies from his strings. His voice is powerful with just enough baritone which harkens to a folk rock era that is missing so much in today's music. This song takes me to church. |

Your interpretation is very similar to what I feel about this song. I feel that the sweet melody indicates surrender, peaceful and accepting. What a comfort to go back into the earth with the one you love by your side. Hosier is a truly a gifted poet. |
