@[EvaSan:34556] Disagree.. the very line 'I saved the world today' strongly suggests irony, something NOT really happening, NOT something you're being advised to do, or contribute towards, 'but in your own little way'. I also agree with those that think its a very personally focused song and lyrics, therefore more about depression than actually trying to save the world as a whole. |

@[rainbow8711:34555] I for one can certainly see the irony of the line 'I saved the world today' when so many of the rest of the words indicate a much 'darker' outloook. A quite brilliant line, and song, really! |

@[Huaso:34554] Yeah, thats more what the song means to me. Being in a very deep depression and feelng so 'constrained' by that. But also, then, needing to cling to small 'wins'.. small 'positives'..not, for me, maybe, by just having got through the day, another day, but in some small - even if only slightly - 'positive' thing which that person managed to do, or just to perceive, that particular - or any - day. |
