I agree with the PLAS sentence “that has got to be the most simplistic, intense and defining line ever in a song” I would add that, in context of the dark feelings the instrumental evokes, it seems to me that a person is planning some kind of revenge. But this person will work his/her way up to gain the confidence of the other person, take his/her time and wait for the right moment to destroy that person. |
