Chris Bathgate – Every Wall You Own Lyrics 5 years ago
This is a beautiful song. I may be going out on a limb, but here is my interpretation. I marked the characters as "he" and "she" below, but they can be used interchangeably.

The song is about insecure love from a passive aggressive lover. The lover stonewalls (does silent treatment on) the person she loves. The voice comes from the receiver of the silent treatment, but he is a centered individual who is at peace (note the tone in his voice) and is aware the problem is not in himself but in the insecure lover who wrestles with anger.

Rolling eyes is passive aggressive body language. The voice calls the lover to "pray", that is, to introspectively confront her inner problems instead of projecting them (or blaming) the person she loves. The blaming are the "lies" in the relationship.

The rest of the lyrics are about with the fight or flight response expressed by the angered lover. The walls created are in the name of the person she loves, winch is the flight response expressed through stonewalling. The "caw" and "claw" are the fight response, her physically expressed anger.
