| Many interpret the "candle light in Central Park" line as referencing candlelight vigils for John Lennon after his assassination. Mullins relates the beauty in the stars with that seen in candlelight, which is only existent because of someone's death. A lot of the art and beauty of this world revolve around death and suffering in some way. Therefore Mullins won't be despondent about death knowing the new life is void of these troubles. | |
